Melissa Negreiros, Ph.D.
Hello! I am an Assistant Professor in the Teacher Education Department at the College of Charleston. I currently teach pre-service teachers or, as I like to refer to them, “teachers in the making!” I am passionate about teacher education, MakerEd, STEAM instructional approaches, and mathematics education! I love robots too!
I am an experienced teacher, instructional coach, elementary school administrator, and educational consultant. I hold Master's degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Administration from the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina, respectively. In 2017, I completed my Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning at the University of South Carolina.
I am excited to document and share the work that me and my “teachers in the making” do on this site!
